Getting back into the swing of things at school and work this week has been surprisingly rejuvenating. There’s something about having a routine to follow that makes the stressful moments a little more bearable, no? This weekend, I’m planning to stay in to work on homework and a big grant proposal, as well as continuing to organize all the little details of my apartment. A few of Allen’s friends are coming into town for a week full of skiing on Sunday, so I’m excited to play a few board games with them before they head out to the slopes. What are you up to this weekend? I’d love to know! Here are a few of the little things that brightened my week.
— Nothing like bright and bold gel pens to get my creative juices flowing for some fun posts coming up. —
— The cutest fitbit band to get me in the running mood. —
— The cutest business cards for Create + Cultivate Dallas (next weekend!) —
— Chocolate + chocolate + chocolate donuts dreams. —
— Building Big Bang Legos on a lazy Friday night at home. —

January 24, 2016 at 9:22 amHello from the sleepy little Gautemalan town of Flores on Lake Peten Itza. It is great that my hotel has a computer so I can check in and see how things are going there in Boulder. Give Allen a big hug for me.
