LIFE SERIES The Little Things

The Little Things

This past weekend, Conor (my best friend from CU) came to visit me here in Houston. It was his first time in Texas…ever! Can you believe it?! So naturally, we had to explore all the fun spots here at NASA (#nerdlife), as well as in the greater Houston area. Needless to say, we had a LOT of ground to cover. A. Lot. It’s Texas after all, and even still…only a teeny tiny part of Texas at that! We didn’t end up stopping for a single moment the entire weekend. I’m planning on doing a full recap of all the fun things we did, but until then here are a few of my favorite snaps from our weekend-full spent exploring!

As for this upcoming weekend, I’m taking Friday off and heading back to Colorado to visit Allen for the first time in what feels like for-ever. I can’t wait! Sooo excited! I see lots of hiking, shopping, and eating in our future. Friday we are planning to spend the day in Golden, walking around the downtown area. Saturday we’ll be headed to the Boulder Farmers Market with Colleen. And Sunday we’ll be hiking up a storm in Rocky Mountain National Park (and eating ALL the pie at our favorite place). I’ve also got a fun Boulder collaboration in the works for Monday, so stay tuned for some exciting news coming up this fall. I hope you have a great weekend!
