This past weekend, my parents came into town for our annual ski trip. You can see last year’s recap here if you’re interested. We usually stay in Breckenridge but opted for Beaver Creek as a fun and new change of scenery. And while my mom was sick for the first half of our trip (we felt so bad and did everything we could to include her in our nighttime activities), she did managed to get in a couple days on the slopes toward the end of our trip.
It may not have been the exact trip we all had planned on, but I think everyone had a fantastic time away from the office and fully engaged in mountain town living. I’ll do a full recap of the weekend soon, but in the meantime here are a few of the little things from our trip that brightened our time in Beaver Creek (and Keystone).
As for this past week, I started back at school and research on Monday. And to be honest with you, I couldn’t be more excited to dive right into my new coursework for the semester! A nice long holiday break will do that I guess. 😛 And with a class like Interplanetary Mission Design, how could I not?! I hope you have a great weekend, friends!
— Fresh powder on our first day in Beaver Creek. —
— Mountain lodge vibes {taken from the lift line}. —
— Skiing with my favorite goober. —
— Post-skiing cookies are always a good idea. —
— Moosin’ around in Keystone. {If you didn’t know, I have a slight obsession with moose!} —
