Hi, friends! Today I’m excited to share with you the last look in my 4 Ways Style A Floral Dress in Winter series and it’s all about bringing out your inner boho chic.
If you know me at all, you know I’m not the girl to incorporate lots of fur or other fuzzy things into my wardrobe. But when I saw Jillian styling this faux fur vest with a classic chambray button up and white jeans, I thought I can do that! Updating a classic look that you know works with a fun new piece is the best way to try something new in my opinion! That way you ease it into your wardrobe and find ways that feel appropriate in your own aesthetic.
At any rate, I love how funky and different this fuzzy vest is! So I thought I’d pair it with this floral dress to give the look a more boho carefree vibe that is perfect as spring temperatures begin to rise.
I paired the shorter length of the dress with my favorite suede booties from seasons past. I love how short booties are one of those pieces that can transition seamlessly from fall to winter to spring, especially when they come in a gorgeous sandy beige color.
For accessories that play up the boho theme, I kept within the beige and cognac color palette–like this perfectly sized crossbody purse.
Add in a few simple golden bracelets, my favorite wooden watch (last seen here and here), and a fun whimsical necklace completes the look.
And that’s how I style a floral dress with a boho chic twist! (Just in time for Coachella too! 😉 )
It’s also the end of my Floral Dress 4 Ways series! Can you believe it?! I was actually quite surprised (and impressed!) with just how many ways a single dress could be styled! It’s got me thinking I should take more of these personal challenges with pieces in my wardrobe. Not only was I able to get creative in putting together new and different looks with existing pieces, it showed me just how far an individual piece (like one single floral dress) can go!
How about you? What was your favorite look from the series? I’d love to know!
